he Castle is surrounded by a green valley and two unique forests. There is a beautiful 360-degrees view of the underlying valley, the two forests and the city of Perugia, the capital of Umbria. The view streches many miles in all directions. Rome and Florence are at a distance of under two hours by car and the many art cities of Umbria and Tuscany are much closer. It is easy and comfortable drive to these cities, visit them and come back in one day.
